Big Cat Challenge
04 June 2017
We have some very exciting news. The lovely Linsey Wallace is fundraising for Cats Protection Glasgow and she needs your help.
Linsey is participating in the CP Himalayan Tiger Trek. Between the 7th and 19th of October she will be trekking through the lesser Himalayan mountain range and spending 3 days in the Kanha National Park to learn more about the tigers’ environment and help to keep it shipshape for the big cats. While she is away she will be trekking between 6-9 hours a day with no electricity, no showers and not even a flushing toilet!!
Lindsay has worked with the branch through her work with vets services and can currently be found at The Avenues Vets Surgery in Rutherglen. She has been raising funds and is currently collecting donations of raffle prizes for a raffle that will start within the next couple of weeks, planning a first aid talk with an entry fee and possibly even a photo competition with a hamper prize. Watch this space!
Linsay needs your help to raise sponsorship for the event. She has managed to raise 59% of her fundraising total and needs to have raised 80% by the end of July. What do you think? Can you help her? The money raised will be donated to the branch and Linsey certainly deserves this opportunity. I am quite sure she will send us and our little cats some pictures of her journey to the big cats!
See the poster for ways to support Linsey. The cats want you to and you know you can’t wait!
